Applied Robotics: Exploring Autonomous Machines for the Future
The content for the Intermediate Robotics Course “Exploring Autonomous Machines for the Future” goes
deeper into the world of robots, focusing on the construction, integration, and operation of robotic
systems and present this content within the 6-month duration. By the end of this course, participants will
gain hands-on experience in assembling robots, integrating sensors, programming autonomous
functionalities, and establishing wireless control, empowering them to tackle real-world challenges in the
field of robotics.
Course Objectives
Learn how robots are used in many different areas like factories, medicine, and more.
Explore the different parts that make up a robot kit and understand how each part
works.
Put together all the parts of the robot, including sensors and controls.
Understand how sensors and controls work inside a robot.
Teach the robot to move by itself without someone controlling it.
Create an Android application to control the robot and add more features if
needed.
By completing this course, participants will have a better understanding of how
robots work. Participants will be able to build and control robots that can move by
themselves and do tasks like recognizing colors and picking things up
